Job Summary

The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the showroom floor, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, driving sales performance, managing the sales team, and maintaining operational excellence. The role requires strong leadership, customer service orientation, and the ability to ensure smooth coordination between sales, inventory, billing, and store operations.

Key Responsibilities Floor Operations

- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the showroom floor.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all sales counters and customer service areas.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, punctuality, and discipline.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.

Sales Management
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor individual and team sales performance and provide guidance to improve results.
- Support sales executives in handling high-value customers and complex sales.
- Ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and festive offers.

Customer Experience
- Deliver a premium shopping experience to every customer.
- Handle customer complaints and escalations promptly and professionally.
- Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Ensure high standards of hospitality and customer satisfaction throughout the showroom.





Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct on-the-job training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Allocate duties and monitor staff productivity.
- Coordinate with Counter Heads and Store Manager for smooth daily operations.

Inventory & Security
- Monitor stock availability on the showroom floor.
- Ensure proper display, handling, and security of jewellery.
- Supervise daily stock verification and coordinate with inventory and audit teams.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.

Billing & Compliance
- Coordinate with the billing and cashier teams to ensure smooth customer transactions.
- Ensure compliance with KYC norms, billing procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard valuable inventory and customer information.

Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily sales, customer feedback, and operational reports.
- Coordinate with merchandising, inventory, HR, and audit teams as required.
- Assist the Store Manager in implementing operational improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline.




- Certification in Retail Management or Sales Management is an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in jewellery retail.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or floor management role is preferred.
