Job Summary

Arundhati Jewellers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Cashier to manage billing, cash handling, and payment transactions while ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent numerical accuracy, basic computer knowledge, and experience in retail billing, preferably in the jewellery industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer billing using the POS/billing software.
- Receive payments through cash, UPI, debit/credit cards, bank transfers, and other approved payment modes.
- Ensure accurate cash collection and issue invoices/receipts to customers.
- Verify gold exchange, advance payments, and balance collections as per company policies.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and prepare cash closing reports.
- Deposit daily cash collections as instructed by management.
- Maintain proper records of billing transactions and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with the Accounts and Store teams for smooth financial operations.
- Resolve billing discrepancies promptly and escalate issues when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.




- Provide courteous and professional customer service during the billing process.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial transactions and customer information.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and retail billing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/POS software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience
- 1-3 years of experience as a Cashier in the Jewellery/Retail industry.
- Experience in handling high-value cash transactions will be preferred.
