Build and maintain the data architecture that powers the Investment teams decision-making. Design and own ETL pipelines end-to-end - extraction, transformation, quality monitoring, and failure recovery. Automate data workflows so nothing depends on a manual script running at 2am. Take machine learning models from notebook to production, and keep them reliable once theyre there. Build the quality control layer that catches bad data before it reaches an investment decision. Translate complex data into dashboards and reports a non-technical stakeholder can act on in 30 seconds.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain the data architecture that powers the Investment teams decision-making.
- Design and own ETL pipelines end-to-end - extraction, transformation, quality monitoring, and failure recovery.
- Automate data workflows so nothing depends on a manual script running at 2am.
- Take machine learning models from notebook to production, and keep them reliable once theyre there.

Requirements





- Strong hands-on Python and SQL - youre comfortable owning the pipeline, not just writing the query.
- Experience with cloud data infrastructure (AWS) and real production database design.
- Practical feature engineering and data modeling experience - not just theoretical ML knowledge.
- Experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production - youve felt a model drift, and fixed it.
- Ability to build explicit data visualization dashboards and reports for non-technical audiences.
- MS Excel fluency for ad-hoc analysis alongside the investment team.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with data warehousing and governance practices.
- Experience building APIs, web scraping, Docker, and Git-based version control.
- Discipline around unit-testing pipelines, not just application code.
- Basic understanding of finance, stocks, and mutual funds - or genuine curiosity to learn fast.
- End-to-end ownership mindset and sharp communication skills.
