Position: Handloom Buyer

Qualification: Minimum Graduation

Experience: Minimum 2 Years (Handloom/Textile Industry Preferred)

Timing: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and source high-quality handloom products from weavers, artisans, clusters, and suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with handloom artisans, manufacturers, and vendor partners.
- Negotiate product pricing, quality standards, delivery timelines, and purchase terms.
- Research market trends, customer preferences, and seasonal demand to curate attractive product collections.
- Ensure all purchased products meet Arundhati Bandhakalas quality and craftsmanship standards.
- Coordinate with the merchandising, design, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular visits to weaving clusters, exhibitions, and supplier locations to identify new products and vendors.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor documentation, and procurement reports.




- Ensure timely follow-up on purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier payments in coordination with the accounts team.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, pricing, consistency, and delivery schedules.
- Support product development by collaborating with artisans on exclusive collections and new designs.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Indian handloom fabrics, weaving techniques, and traditional textiles.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Positive understanding of product quality assessment and sourcing practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/inventory management software.
- Strong communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively to weaving clusters, artisan villages, and supplier locations.
