We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer Node.js, TypeScript & AI to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend applications and AI-powered solutions. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to build production-ready APIs, AI integrations, and intelligent backend services using modern technologies and best engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build secure and high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI tools such as OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP into product features.
- Develop AI-powered applications including RAG pipelines and AI agents.
- Build and maintain background job processing systems using BullMQ (Redis-backed queues) or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application performance.




- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions and engineering initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2 - 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLM integrations, or AI agent frameworks.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, databases, and backend architecture.
- Experience with BullMQ, Bull, Celery, Amazon SQS, or similar queue management systems.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Valuable verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, or CrewAI.
- Knowledge of vector databases including Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector.
- Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal AI/Node.js projects are an added advantage.
