Addis Infotech are looking to hire 2 designer immediately who can work directly with our development staff and clients designing recent functionality and maintaining existing web sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coding, designing, and modifying websites from layout to function and according to the internal clients specifications.
- Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation which adhere to the NewTek brand.
- Expertise and hands on experience with languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, RSS, JQuery and APIs.
- Work with developers, designers and Project Managers to build and refine designs and experiences for websites.
- Convert raw images and layouts from .psd into CSS/HTML pages and/or CMS templates.
- Create and update Newsletter emails for distribution list.
- Set up coded pages from US site for translation on our international sites.
- Find creative and technical solutions related to achieving specific business and demand generation goals.
- Advise marketing team members of latest Web trends, best practices, and technology standards.
- Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
- Passion for emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities.
- Designing low and high fidelity wire-frames and comps.
- Ability to code from scratch.




- Working with different content management systems.
- Search Engine Optimization best practices while coding pages.
- Making sure website content along with visual imagery and ensuring it is in line with company branding policy.
- Editing content, debugging code and re-designing web pages.
- Testing the website to ensure it is working across multiple devices.
- Continual professional development to keep up to date with new software developments.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a web designer and/or developer.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, CSS3, Photoshop, HTML, JavaScript, and Microsoft Office.
- A strong portfolio.
- Team-player attitude, positive demeanor, outstanding work ethic, and the drive to exceed expectations.
- Associates, Bachelors or Advanced Degree in web design, development or related field.
- UI Design and UX best practices that translate user and business needs into successful Web experiences.
- Cross-browser compatibility experience.
- Responsive Design and Development.
- CMS (Preferably Magento and/or WordPress).
