DB Malls Pvt. Ltd. is a real estate arm of the Dainik Bhaskar Group, engaged in the development and management of commercial and mixed-use real estate projects, including malls and coworking spaces. As the organization scales its project portfolio, we are strengthening our billing and cost-control function to support high-rise and large-format construction projects.

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Billing Manager to independently manage end-to-end civil and MEP billing operations across our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will bring solid technical command over estimation, quantification, and specification, along with a sound understanding of statutory and legal documentation applicable to construction billing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage end-to-end Civil Billing and MEP Billing processes across ongoing real estate projects.
- Prepare, verify, and certify contractor and vendor bills based on actual site measurements and approved Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Carry out accurate estimation and quantification of civil and MEP works in line with project specifications.
- Ensure billing is compiled and processed strictly as per the applicable Bill Mode of Measurement.
- Maintain compliance with relevant IS Codes and internal billing management standards.
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and finance teams to ensure timely bill certification and payment processing.




- Review and validate statutory and legal documentation related to contracts, work orders, and billing certifications.
- Maintain organized billing records, measurement sheets, and supporting documentation for audit readiness.
- Identify and flag billing discrepancies, cost overruns, or deviations from approved specifications.
- Support project leadership with periodic billing status reports and cost tracking summaries.
- Checking safety, statutory & legal documentation related to construction contracts & Billing.
- Should have exposure to civil finish, faade & MEP Billing Tax.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in Civil Billing within the real estate/construction industry, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of Estimation, Quantification, and Specification writing.
- Hands-on experience with Bill Mode of Measurement and standard billing management procedures.
- Sound knowledge of applicable IS Codes for civil and construction billing.
- Proven exposure to Statutory & Legal Documentation related to construction contracts and billing.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for billing computations, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Prior experience with high-rise or large-format real estate projects is essential.
- Experience with organizations such as Shapoorji Pallonji, Lodha, Godrej, Raheja, DLF, Sobha, or similar reputed developers will be preferred.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
