Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the Reverse Osmosis (RO), Softener, and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) systems.
- Ensure continuous availability of purified water for production and laboratory operations.
- Perform routine monitoring of RO system parameters such as pressure, flow, conductivity, pH, and TDS.
- Carry out regeneration of softeners and sanitization of the RO system as per SOPs.
- Record daily operational parameters and maintain logbooks in compliance with GMP requirements.
- Perform routine cleaning, flushing, and preventive maintenance of RO membranes, filters, pumps, and associated equipment.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for water sampling and testing activities.
- Identify equipment abnormalities and report breakdowns promptly to the Engineering Manager.
- Ensure proper chemical dosing and safe handling of treatment chemicals.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the utility area in accordance with GMP and safety standards.
- Support qualification,



validation, and calibration activities related to the water system.
- Follow all SOPs, cGMP, safety, and EHS guidelines at all times.
- Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing required records and documentation.

Desired Skills

- Knowledge of Reverse Osmosis, Softener, DM Plant, and Purified Water Systems.
- Understanding of GMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical utility systems.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, valves, pipelines, and instrumentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot RO plant issues.
- Positive documentation practices (GDP).
- Team player with good communication skills.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline.
- Certification in Water Treatment Plant operation will be an added advantage.
