The candidate should be Degree holder in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 18-22 years of experience in dealing with vendors for Engineering items and managing overall gamut of purchase for a Company. Good in building and managing a team with motivation to achieve desired result with exceptional skills for on time delivery of material. Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies. Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking. Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand. Strong leadership capabilities. Solid judgement along with decision making skills. A good team player and has the ability to motivate and lead a team.
Positive communication skill in English and knowledge of ERP system & M.S. Office would be an added qualification.
