Job Summary

Raajratna Ventures Limited, a mid-sized manufacturing company based in Ahmedabad, is looking for a energetic and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead its Accounts Department.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the entire accounting function, from day-to-day accounting operations to finalization of financial statements. The role involves leading a team of six accounting professionals, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit coordination, taxation, MIS reporting, and ERP-based accounting through SAP Business One (SAP B1).

The successful candidate should possess strong technical expertise in accounting, taxation, statutory audits, and financial controls, along with proven leadership skills to develop and guide the accounts team. The candidate will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, bankers, tax consultants, and other departments to ensure efficient financial operations and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Accounts Department.




- Oversee the complete accounting cycle from voucher verification to finalization of annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
- Supervise General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory Accounting, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, Cost Audit, and Stock Audit.
- Review monthly MIS, financial statements, profitability reports, and variance analysis for management.
- Strengthen internal financial controls and continuously improve accounting processes.
- Ensure effective utilization of SAP Business One (SAP B1) and support ERP process improvements.
- Liaise with banks, government authorities, auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate the performance of the accounts team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
