We're Hiring: Data Protection Consultant (DPDPA)

DPDP Consultants is looking for a Data Protection Consultant to join our team in Noida. You'll help clients build and operationalize data protection compliance programs under India's DPDP Act, working closely with client stakeholders on everything from gap assessments to remediation.

What you'll do:

- Develop and implement data protection policies, procedures, and governance frameworks for clients
- Conduct risk assessments and Business Activity Assessments to identify privacy gaps
- Partner with client stakeholders to assess privacy posture and design remediation plans
- Monitor data processing activities for ongoing compliance with applicable data protection laws
- Design and implement Data Principal Rights management processes and tools
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) on client application software




- Deliver training to client and internal teams on data protection best practices
- Collaborate with technology and compliance teams to align on GDPR and DPDPA requirements
- Track regulatory developments and recommend policy updates accordingly

What we're looking for:

- Bachelor's degree required; preferred backgrounds include B.Tech + MBA, LLM (Cyber Law), LLB, BCA, or MCA
- 2+ years of experience in data protection, information security, IT compliance, or a related domain
- Working knowledge of data protection laws and regulations (DPDPA, GDPR)
- Understanding of business processes and privacy controls
- Solid stakeholder management and communication skills — you'll be client-facing
- Comfortable working independently and owning deliverables end-to-end
- High discretion in handling confidential information
