Finance Controller

Location: Ekkatuthangal Chennai

Experience: 10+ years

Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant – Mandatory

Role Overview:

The Finance Controller will lead the Finance and Accounts function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust financial controls, statutory compliance, effective cash-flow management and timely financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end Finance and Accounts operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and period-end closing.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections.
- Manage working capital, banking relationships, fund utilisation, reconciliations and payment processes.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.




- Drive budgeting, variance analysis, cost optimisation and financial planning.
- Provide financial analysis and business insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Strengthen finance processes through automation, ERP controls and continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Finance and Accounts team.

Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of relevant Finance and Accounts experience.
- Strong experience in financial controlling, reporting, budgeting, taxation, audits and cash-flow management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Robust analytical, leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience in EPC, infrastructure, manufacturing or renewable energy sectors will be preferred.
