Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct microbiological tests on samples using various techniques such as plate counting, PCR, and serotyping.
- Prepare media for culturing bacteria and maintain a clean laboratory environment to prevent contamination.
- Assist in the development of new test protocols and procedures under the supervision of senior scientists.
- Record data accurately and maintain accurate records of test results.
Job Requirements :
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical or research setting with exposure to microbiology principles.
- Solid understanding of microbiology concepts including microbial growth kinetics, identification methods, and control measures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
