Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Treasury professional to oversee daily treasury operations, manage cash flow, ensure timely payments, and lead a team responsible for banking and treasury activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in treasury management, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient liquidity and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Operations

- Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity across bank accounts.
- Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure adequate funding for business operations while optimizing cash utilization.
- Monitor and execute fund transfers between bank accounts.

Banking & Payments

- Oversee payment processing, including vendor payments, payroll, statutory payments, and intercompany settlements.
- Manage relationships with banking partners and support banking documentation, account openings, closures, and KYC compliance.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and resolution of unreconciled items.

Working Capital Management

- Monitor cash inflows and outflows to optimize working capital.
- Coordinate with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to improve cash conversion.
- Support initiatives for improving liquidity and reducing borrowing costs.

Treasury Controls & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain appropriate controls over banking transactions and payment approvals.
- Support internal and external audits by providing treasury-related documentation.

Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare treasury dashboards and MIS reports.
- Analyze cash flow trends and recommend process improvements.




- Monitor banking charges, interest costs, and investment returns where applicable.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of treasury professionals.
- Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Procurement, Payroll, and Business teams.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, and external financial institutions.
- Support treasury-related projects, ERP implementations, and system enhancements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- B.com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or Cash Management.
- Prior team handling experience is preferred for Team Lead roles.

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of cash management and treasury operations.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookup functions, dashboards).
- Knowledge of bank portals and electronic payment platforms.
- Understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and cash forecasting.
