Designation: Manager - Secondary Supply Chain & Logistics

Key Responsibilities

Secondary Distribution Management

- Manage end-to-end secondary transportation from depots to distributors across India.
- Optimize routes, vehicle utilization and freight efficiency.
- Ensure timely dispatches and high customer service levels.

Logistics Cost Optimization

- Monitor freight cost per kg, per case and per drop.
- Drive lane-wise freight benchmarking and savings initiatives.

Depot Performance Management

- Monitor depot KPIs and dispatch adherence.
- Coordinate with Sales, Planning and Warehouse teams.

Transporter Management

- Manage transporter performance, compliance and commercial reviews.

MIS & Analytics

- Develop advanced Excel dashboards and logistics MIS.
- Analyse logistics costs, delivery performance and utilization.
- Leverage ERP data for decision making.

Continuous Improvement

- Lead logistics improvement projects, SOP standardization and automation.

Travel Requirement





Extensive travel across India (approximately 6070%) to depots, warehouses, transport hubs and distributor locations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech or Graduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce or related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.
- 57 years of experience in Secondary Logistics, Distribution, Supply Chain or Transportation.
- Experience in FMCG, Food, Beverage, Consumer Goods or Retail Distribution preferred.
- Experience managing transporters, depots and distribution operations across multiple states.
- Experience in pan-India FMCG secondary distribution.
- Solid freight optimization exposure.
- Comfortable handling large datasets and management dashboards.
- Ability to collaborate across Supply Chain, Sales, Manufacturing and Finance.
