About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager – Indirect Taxation to join our team. The ideal candidate should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8–12 years of post-qualification experience in indirect taxation, preferably from a reputed CA firm or consulting organization.
The candidate will work closely with the Partner and lead client engagements across *GST compliance, advisory, litigation, and strategic tax matters,* while managing a team and maintaining strong client relationships.
*Key Responsibilities*
Lead and manage end-to-end indirect tax engagements, including GST compliance, advisory, and litigation.
Provide strategic advice on GST and other indirect tax matters to clients across various industries.
Handle departmental assessments, audits, investigations, notices, appeals, and representation before tax authorities.
Review and oversee GST returns, reconciliations,
compliance processes, and health checks.
Identify tax planning opportunities, risk areas, and recommend practical business solutions.
Assist clients in transaction structuring and implementation from an indirect tax perspective.
Conduct technical research and provide opinions on complex indirect tax issues.
Ensure timely delivery of assignments while maintaining high-quality standards.
Build and maintain robust client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
Mentor, guide, and supervise team members, ensuring effective delegation and performance management.
*Candidate Profile*
Qualified Chartered Accountant (Mandatory).
8–12 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in Indirect Taxation.
Strong expertise in:
GST Compliance
GST Advisory
GST Litigation
Assessments & Departmental Representation
Indirect Tax Planning & Risk Advisory
Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
