Role Overview

We are seeking a Associate Test Lead with 6+ years of experience in the Banking and Payments domain, specializing in card transaction processing systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in functional testing, integration testing, SIT/UAT execution, and hands-on experience with FIS Cortex and card processing platforms. The role involves validating end-to-end card transaction flows, system integrations, and payment processing functionality across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

- Design, develop, and execute functional and integration test cases for card transaction processing applications.
- Create comprehensive test scenarios covering card lifecycle management and transaction processing workflows.
- Execute SIT and integration testing cycles to ensure business requirements are met.
- Maintain test coverage, traceability, and detailed test execution reports.

Card Transaction Validation

- Validate end-to-end card transaction flows across POS, ATM, and E-commerce channels.
- Test transaction lifecycle processes including authorization, reversals, cancellations, clearing, and settlement.
- Validate refund, chargeback, dispute management, and merchant settlement scenarios.




- Ensure accurate transaction processing and compliance with business rules.

Integration & Platform Testing

- Perform testing of FIS Cortex modules and associated payment applications.
- Validate integrations with payment switches, core banking systems, fraud management platforms, and settlement systems.
- Verify transaction message integrity, data consistency, and reconciliation across interconnected systems.
- Support defect analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution activities.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ years of software testing experience in Banking, Cards, or Payments domain.
- Hands-on experience with FIS Cortex testing.
- Strong expertise in Functional Testing, Integration Testing, SIT, and UAT.
- Experience testing card transaction processing systems and payment applications.
- Proficiency with defect and test management tools such as Jira, ALM, or similar platforms.
- Positive understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and defect management processes.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to ISO 8583 transaction messaging standards.
- Experience with payment switches and network integrations.
- Knowledge of banking interfaces, reconciliation processes, and transaction monitoring.
