- Financial Reporting

1. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and the Companies Act, 2013.

2. Manage the month-end and year-end close end to end, ensuring that all schedules, reconciliations, accruals and provisions are completed within the agreed reporting calendar.

3. Review general ledger reconciliations, fixed-asset registers, related-party schedules and Branch elimination and reconciliations

4. Serve as the principal point of contact for statutory auditors, internal auditor and consultant - plan the audit, resolve queries, substantiate judgemental positions and secure a clean and timely sign-off.

5. Maintain the integrity of the chart of accounts and the Companys accounting policies and document the basis for significant or judgemental accounting treatments.

6. Coordinate with the Tax consultant and internal finance team to ensure direct and indirect tax reporting is accurate and filed within statutory timelines.

- Financial Planning & Analysis

1. Preparation of the annual operating plan, budgets and periodic forecasts, building bottom-up assumptions in consultation with department and business heads.

2. Prepare the monthly management information pack, including variance analysis of actuals against budget and forecast, with transparent and honest commentary on the underlying drivers.

3. Build and maintain financial models for business planning, capital expenditure appraisal, product and segment profitability, and scenario or sensitivity analysis.

4.



Track operational and financial KPIs, and bring emerging risks and opportunities to the attention of management early enough to act on them.

5. Support pricing, cost-control and working-capital initiatives with rigorous, decision-ready analysis.

6. Prepare board, lender and investor reporting material, including financial dashboards and management presentations.

- Controls, Compliance & Governance

1. Strengthen internal financial controls over reporting; identify control gaps and drive their remediation to closure.

2. Ensure adherence to the delegation of authority, accounting policies and statutory timelines.

3. Support internal audit reviews and assist in implementing accepted recommendations.

- Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

1. Partner with operations, sales and procurement to embed financial discipline in everyday decision-making.

2. Present financial results and analysis to CFO / senior management in a clear, concise and commercially relevant manner.

3. Liaise with bankers, auditors, consultants and regulatory authorities as required.

- Team Leadership & Process Improvement

1. Supervise, review and mentor junior finance staff, and take an active interest in their professional development.

2. Drive automation and process improvement across the reporting and planning cycle, including better use of the ERP and reporting tools.

3. Performance in the role will be assessed against a balanced set of measures spanning reporting reliability, planning quality and the strength of the control environment.
