- 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
- Minimum 4 years of strong hands-on experience in Talend (preferably Talend Open Studio/Enterprise) and IBM DataStage.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL solutions using Talend and IBM DataStage..
- Analyze complex data requirements and build efficient ETL pipelines to support business needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to understand data integration needs and propose optimal solutions.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from various data sources into target systems like Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), DB2, and Oracle ExaCC.
- Implement data quality checks, exception handling, and performance optimization in ETL processes.
- Conduct unit testing, validate data accuracy, and troubleshoot technical issues in ETL jobs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including mappings, workflows, and data dictionaries.
- Participate in code reviews, deployments,



and production support as needed.
- Adhere to and actively participate in the mandatory release management process for all development activities.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.Stay current with industry best practices and tools in ETL and data integration technologies.

Skills

- Proficient in ETL job design, performance tuning, and handling large-scale data processing.
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts, expert-level SQL skills, and experience working with databases such as Oracle ExaCC and DB2.
- Hands-on experience with big data platforms, specifically Cloudera Data Platform (CDP).
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Good understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and data lifecycle management.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and formal release management processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years experience in ETL.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on Talend and IBM Datastage development experience.
- Expertise in designing and implementing Talend and IBM Datastage ETL jobs.
- Hands-on experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), Oracle ExaCC, and DB2.
- Strong SQL and performance optimization skills.
