Role Purpose

As the Functional Consultant for Finance, you will be part of a high-performance team chartered to deliver full lifecycle enterprise SAP solutions. In this role, you will be part of a global SAP project delivery team.

Your role will be to identify, design, build, test, and deploy high-quality SAP solutions for STL Digitals customers' complex business needs in the areas of Finance and Controlling.

Primary Skills

- SAP experience supporting General Ledger, in addition to at least 3 of the following areas:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Financial Accounting
- Fixed Asset Accounting
- Financial Closing
- Inter-company Accounting
- Project System
- Management & Cost Centre/Element Accounting
- Product Costing
- COPA

- Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset.
- Strong understanding of accounting business processes.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience designing and configuring SAP FICO modules.
- Domain expertise across multiple FICO modules, including:

- Multi-ledger GL
- AR / AP
- Fixed Assets
- Product Costing
- Integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems

- SAP certification in FI or CO.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with multiple stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications & Critical Exposure

- Minimum 8 years of experience.
- Should be capable of working as an Individual Contributor.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




- Quick learner who is self-driven and has a passion to excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas.
- Certified Accountant (CA/ICWA/CPA/CFA or equivalent) / MBA (Finance).

Key Responsibilities

- Understand the business requirements of the organization.
- Prepare the blueprint for project implementation.
- Implement the project.
- Validate reporting requirements.
- Validate any changes in customization.
- Provide training to end users.
- Resolve day-to-day queries of end users.
- Enhance SAP functionality for end users based on requirements.
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FICO.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
- Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
- Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives, and develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
- Design, customize, configure, and test SAP FICO.
- Identify gaps and issues and develop workaround solutions.




- Act as a liaison with the client for troubleshooting; investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
- Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high-priority issues.
- Document functional designs, test cases, and results.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Provide consulting services for both current implementations and existing support projects.
- Act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
- Work independently and in a self-directed manner; may act as a subject matter mentor to junior team members.

Finance Transformation Experience

The candidate should have implemented Finance Transformation projects and worked on at least 2 of the following areas:

- Activation of Parallel Currencies and Parallel Ledgers
- Advanced Intercompany Matching and Reconciliation (ICMR)
- Funds Management for Budgetary Control
- Automatic Payment Program (APP)
- Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)
- Financial Closing Cockpit (FCC)
- Product Costing setup and processes
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Cost Allocation Cycles (Assessment & Distribution Cycles)
- Account-Based Marginal Analysis
- Material Ledger Activation (with/without Actual Costing)

Work Location & Work Mode

- Mumbai / Pune / Bangalore / Ahmedabad: Hybrid – 3 days work from office.
- Aurangabad / Silvassa (Dadra & Nagar Haveli): 5 days work from office; bus facility available.
