Role & responsibilities

What You Will Be Responsible For

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and AI-ready data infrastructure on Azure
- Build and manage data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake
- Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines for data workloads using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Optimise performance and cost through testing, profiling, and tuning of data pipelines
- Ensure compliant change management for all data deployments with auditability, security, and governance controls
- Integrate Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Cosmos DB into enterprise data workflows building the data plumbing that feeds and consumes these services

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science,



or a related technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure data platform engineering
- Production experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, App Services, and Cosmos DB — mandatory

Preferred Qualifications

- Consulting or skilled-services background with a strong bias for action
- Exposure to integrating Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI into data workflows
- Workflow and automation pipeline design, including human-in-the-loop data handling
- Azure DevOps, App Insights, Log Analytics, Key Vault, and Managed Identity integration
- Performance testing and profiling tools such as Locust, K6, or custom scripts
