Position Purpose & Role Summary

We are looking for a specialized Banking / Infrastructure Solution Architect (Banking Solutions & Bid Management) to lead end-to-end banking solution sizing & bid management exercises for large-scale CBS, LMS, and LOS programs. This position acts as the principal technical core during RFP/RFI cycles, discovering customer requirements, formulating resilient DC/DR layouts, defining optimized multi-vendor Bill of Materials (BOM), conducting POCs, and driving architectural workstreams directly with Data Centers until ultimate program go-live.

Core Responsibilities & Duties

- Lead end-to-end banking solution sizing and competitive bid management exercises for CBS, LMS, and LOS programs.
- Understand and analyze the complete banking solution landscape including Core Banking (CBS), Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), Channels, Middleware, and Interfaces.
- Drive explicit sizing assumptions and structured clarification queries during competitive RFP/RFI bid stages.
- Define and design comprehensive end-to-end Primary DC, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Active-Active deployment architectures.
- Recommend optimal HA, Active-Active, Active-Passive, storage/database replication, and application synchronization mechanisms.
- Build highly optimized Bill of Materials (BOMs) and commercial pricing models that balance performance, resiliency, scalability, and aggressive cost competitiveness.
- Confidently present and defend technical architectures during competitive bid evaluations facing customer CIOs/CTOs.
- Interface directly with Data Centers to validate and finalize the architecture as per RFP guidelines.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs)



and systematically work alongside the Data Center team until final solution go-live.

Functional Domain & RFP Management

BFSI Knowledge: Ability to analyze end-to-end banking application ecosystems including Core Banking (CBS), Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), Digital Banking Channels, Middleware, Payment Gateways, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), API Gateways, and third-party integrations.

RFP/RFI Management & Solution Discovery:

- Lead technical discovery workshops and requirement gathering sessions involving infrastructure, security, network, database, and application stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage technical clarification questionnaires, identifying key sizing assumptions, dependencies, and architectural risks.
- Translate real business volumes into infrastructure sizing inputs, and build robust sizing assumptions where customer information is partial or incomplete.

Data Center, DR & Network Architecture

DC/DR Infrastructure Sizing:

- Define storage replication, database replication, application synchronization, and network redundancy strategies.
- Size and recommend SAN, backup infrastructure, network switches, load balancers, firewalls, and security appliances.
- Define strict Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) aligned architectures.

Network Sizing Capabilities:





- Perform end-to-end WAN/LAN sizing and exact bandwidth estimation checks.
- Size and configure Core Switches, Top-of-Rack (TOR) switches, load balancers, firewalls, and security appliances.

Commercial Optimization & Vendor Coordination

- Develop cost-optimized infrastructure architectures balancing resiliency, performance, scalability, and bid competitiveness.
- Evaluate alternative deployment models across Physical, Virtualized, Cloud, and Hybrid Cloud networks.
- Optimize BOM layouts to maximize internal margin while meeting committed strict client SLAs.
- Engage dynamically with OEMs and technology partners to validate sizing assumptions, securing optimized configurations and tier pricing.

Experience & Qualifications Profile

- Minimum 5+ years in enterprise infrastructure architecture and capacity planning frameworks.
- Minimum 3+ years in BFSI solution architecture, Core Banking deployment architecture, or banking product implementation cycles.
- Proven background supporting large RFP/RFI responses and highly competitive vendor bid submissions.
- Hands-on expertise in CBS/LMS/LOS infrastructure sizing, enterprise architecture, DC/DR design, HA/DR strategies, bid management, RFP responses, BOM preparation, and customer-facing solution consulting.
- Capable of independently leading infrastructure workstreams for large banking transformation bids and delivering commercially optimized, technically compliant solutions.
- Proven experience dealing directly with Data Centers to finalize the architecture as per RFP guidelines, conducting POCs, and collaborating with the Data Center team until final go-live.
