Role Overview:

There is an opening in the Global Markets IT Equity Derivatives team with a focus on exchange connectivity development. The successful candidate will help develop the electronic trading platform market access layer.

Role Description:

- Development of LPOCG market access (includes pre-trade control). This consists of developing and certifying a market access that connects to the OCG system using binary protocol.
- Development of the OMDC/D market feed handler This consists of developing a feed handler that processes HKEXs OMDC and OMDD market order messages and derive the market best bid, ask last prices.
- A strong & consistent focus on automation of the development and delivery pipelines.
- Agile mind set & a strong bias for action.

Skills, experience, qualifications, and knowledge required:

Essential:





- Minimum 5 years in a similar development role required.
- Degree holder in Information Technology or equivalent; technical background is preferred.
- Proven experience as a C++ developer or similar role
- Experience with Exchange Connectivity and direct Market Data feeds (OMDC & OMDD)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valuable foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- Language proficiency: Fluency in English

Desirable:

- Experience in Equity space and Equity Derivatives
- Experience with low latency high-capacity trading platforms
- Understanding of Algorithmic Trading and Front Office execution systems
