Role Overview:

The role will be responsible to lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement for Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM). The role requires a strategic leader capable of managing an annual procurement spend of over 100 Crore, driving cost optimization, ensuring uninterrupted material availability, strengthening vendor partnerships, and leading a high-performing procurement team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Procurement of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials.
- Manage annual procurement spend exceeding 100 Crore.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and develop strategic supplier partnerships.
- Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and alternate sourcing initiatives without compromising quality and compliance.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to support production plans.
- Lead commercial negotiations, annual rate contracts, and long-term supply agreements.
- Collaborate closely with Planning, Production, R&D;, QA/QC, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement to reduce working capital while maintaining service levels.
- Conduct vendor evaluation,



performance reviews, audits, and supplier development programs.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, GMP requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage procurement MIS, spend analysis, budgeting, and performance dashboards.
- Lead digital procurement initiatives and ERP-driven procurement processes.
- Build, mentor, and develop a procurement team of 56 members.

Preferred candidate profile

- Hands-on experience in procurement of RM, PM is Mandatory. Added advantage if having engineering spares, CAPEX, and indirect materials experience
- Robust commercial acumen with proven negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain planning, inventory management, and sourcing strategies.
- Familiarity with GMP, FSSAI, pharmaceutical quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with ERP systems is must.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
