Senior Python Developer - AI/ML Experience: 3 6 Years

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to build and maintain high-reliability backend and data-driven systems used within a regulated financial market / stock exchange environment. The role focuses on secure, performant, and mission-critical platforms where correctness, auditability, and stability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python

Build and manage integrations with internal and external third-party systems

Work on data-intensive and event-driven components supporting market systems

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for controlled and auditable deployments

Use AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity and code quality

Contribute to system architecture with focus on security, reliability, and performance

Ensure compliance with internal governance, audit, and regulatory standards

Participate in code reviews, documentation, and operational readiness activities

Required Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Python for backend and data-driven systems

Solid experience with Git-based version control

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines

Experience integrating third-party APIs (REST or event-based)

Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar orchestration concepts

Strong fundamentals in software design, testing, logging, and observability





Experience building secure, fault-tolerant, and high-performance systems

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Experience or familiarity with AI/ML systems, including: Large Language Models (LLMs) Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Vector databases and similarity search Embeddings and semantic indexing Fine-tuning techniques Model inference and hosting LLM orchestration frameworks

Exposure to distributed systems, async processing, or messaging platforms

Experience with high-availability or low-latency systems

Domain Knowledge Expectations

Exposure to financial systems, trading platforms, exchanges, or capital markets is highly desirable

Understanding of data integrity, auditability, and operational risk in regulated environments

Familiarity with market data, order flows, or post-trade systems is a plus
