Dispensing & Patient Care:

- Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness
- Dispense medications as prescribed by authorized medical practitioners
- Verify dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging of medications
- Counsel patients regarding medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage requirements
- Provide drug information and pharmaceutical advice to doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor medication therapy and report adverse drug reactions when identified
- Participate in medication safety initiatives and quality improvement activities
- Support antimicrobial stewardship and rational drug use practices

Experience

1 10 years of pharmacy experience. Rotational shifts.

Inventory & Compliance:

- Maintain adequate stock levels of medicines and consumables
- Monitor expiry dates and ensure FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practices
- Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits




- Coordinate procurement and replenishment of pharmacy stock
- Ensure proper storage conditions for all medications
- Maintain pharmacy records as per statutory and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act, Drugs and Cosmetics Act, NABH standards, and hospital policies
- Maintain records of narcotic and controlled drugs as per legal requirements
- Assist during internal and external audits
- Address patient queries regarding medications and treatment
- Promote patient safety through medication counseling and education
- Handle medication-related complaints professionally and promptly
