Client is one of Indias leading electric mobility platform companies focused on sustainable transportation solutions. The organization is building large-scale clean mobility infrastructure and is backed by reputed investors and institutions. As part of its growth journey, the company is looking for a robust finance professional to lead debt fundraising and banking relationships for large-scale projects and business expansion initiatives.

Role Overview

The company is seeking an experienced and execution-driven General Manager Debt Raising & Banking Relations to lead strategic fundraising initiatives, banking partnerships, and structured financing activities.

The role will play a critical part in raising project finance, working capital facilities, term loans, and structured debt instruments to support the companys expansion and infrastructure development plans. The candidate will work closely with leadership, lenders, financial institutions, and advisors to strengthen the companys capital structure and support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Debt Raising & Structured Finance

- Lead end-to-end debt fundraising activities including:
- Project finance
- Term loans
- Working capital facilities
- Structured debt transactions
- Equipment financing
- Infrastructure financing

- Engage with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and private lenders for fund raising initiatives
- Develop lender presentations, financial models,



information memorandums, and financing proposals
- Drive syndication and consortium financing discussions for large projects
- Support refinancing and optimization of existing debt structures

2. Banking & Financial Institution Relationships

- Build and manage strategic relationships with:
- Public and private sector banks
- NBFCs
- Infrastructure finance institutions
- Multilateral and development finance institutions

- Act as the primary interface between the company and lenders
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, security structures, covenants, and financing documentation
- Ensure smooth coordination for sanction approvals and disbursements

3. Financial Structuring & Documentation

- Lead preparation and review of:
- Sanction letters
- Loan agreements
- Security documentation
- Financing term sheets
- Compliance documentation

- Ensure timely submission of financial information, MIS, and covenant compliance to lenders
- Monitor repayment schedules, debt servicing obligations, and banking compliances

4. Strategic Finance & Growth Support

- Support leadership in capital planning and funding strategy
- Work closely with internal finance, legal, business, and project teams on fundraising initiatives
- Assist in evaluating new financing opportunities, green financing instruments, and sustainability-linked funding
- Support strategic initiatives including expansion projects, infrastructure investments, and future capital market readiness

Candidate Profile

- CA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
- 814 years of relevant experience in:
- Debt raising
- Project finance
- Corporate finance
- Infrastructure financing
