Role Overview The Primary Teacher - Mathematics is responsible for building strong numerical foundations in students from Classes I to V through engaging age-appropriate and concept-based teaching The role focuses on nurturing curiosity confidence and problem-solving skills in young learners Key Responsibilities 1 Teaching Classroom Delivery Teach Mathematics concepts to primary classes I-V using interactive and child-centric teaching methods Foster logical thinking numerical understanding and a positive attitude towards Maths Create a safe inclusive and encouraging classroom environment 2 Lesson Planning Curriculum Implementation Plan structured and engaging lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum Design activities worksheets games and real-life examples to enhance concept clarity Integrate experiential learning and hands-on activities for better understanding 3 Student Assessment Feedback Assess students through worksheets class activities tests and observations Track academic progress and identify learning gaps Provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement 4 Parent Communication Collaboration Communicate students academic performance and learning progress to parents during meetings Address parent queries with empathy and professionalism Collaborate with colleagues to support holistic student development Desired Skills Competencies Robust understanding of primary-level Mathematics concepts Ability to explain concepts in a simple engaging and relatable manner Positive classroom management and communication skills Child-friendly patient and encouraging approach Basic proficiency in using teaching aids and worksheets Educational Qualification Graduate Post Graduate in Mathematics B Ed Experience Prior experience of 1-2 years in teaching primary classes 3-5 will be an added advantage Job Type Full-time Pay 35 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
