ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Development of current lighting product for indoor and outdoor lighting solution Design and optimization of mechanical components for Lighting products Develop part and assembly drawings in accordance with applicable standards Create BOM maintain the drawings and BOM revisions Analysis of mechanical specification of materials between different standards Researching and sourcing vendors - obtaining quotes assessing capabilities Managing vendor relationships - monitor performance and output ensure contract terms are being followed Interfaces with outside vendors for component selection manufacturing and assembly Construct and oversee assembly technicians during production of light fixtures Research and analyze existing designs specifications manuals and other data to evaluate the feasibility cost and maintenance requirements of designs or applications Support suppliers for understanding the process constrains and suggesting the alternate process Coordinate with design purchase quality control allied functions for timely quality execution of orders Fulfil production plan as per business requirement QUALIFICATION SKILLS BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 0-2 yrs of work experience Have experience on all stages of Product Development Lifecycle Proficiency in AutoCAD CATIA SOLIDWORKS Creo to create technical drawings Good understanding of Plastic sheet metal engineering materials welding and finishing process Knowledge on creating Dimensional drawings Part Drawings Bill of material Knowledge of quality standards ISO 9001 used for manufacturing Experience in vendor development and supervising production Knowledge of Technical Light Fixtures and Products preferred Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills Should work collaboratively and constructively on each project with others on the team Excellent problem solving and time management skills Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge Job Type Full-time Pay 22 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Application Question s How many years of experience do you have Please specify your current monthly in-hand salary and your monthly expected in-hand salary Do you have proficiency in AutoCAD CATIA SOLIDWORKS Work Location In person
