We are looking for an NPD Quality Engineer Project Manager to manage end-to-end execution of New Product Development NPD projects This role owns quality planning customer approvals and project timelines from drawing receipt to SOP The role is execution-heavy customer-facing and timeline-critical acting as a single point of accountability between customers suppliers and internal cross-functional teams during new product launches NPD Quality Planning Review customer drawings specifications and special characteristics Identify manufacturability and quality risks at early stages Prepare and validate PFMEA Control Plans and Inspection Plans Define and enforce quality gates for NPD milestones Project Management Timeline Control Create detailed NPD project plans with milestones and ownership Track progress against timelines and escalate deviations immediately Coordinate trials pilot runs and process validations Ensure all actions are closed before SOP release Customer Interface Approvals Act as single point of contact for NPD quality with customers Lead customer calls meetings and technical discussions Drive PPAP FAI and customer approval submissions Communicate risks delays and mitigation plans transparently Supplier Subcontractor Coordination Coordinate with suppliers for development parts tooling and special processes Ensure supplier readiness for plating anodizing powder coating welding etc Drive supplier PPAPs and corrective actions Internal Coordination Readiness Align Production Quality Purchase PPC and Tooling teams Ensure SOP release only after full quality and process readiness Prevent premature production release under commercial pressure Documentation Reporting Maintain complete NPD documentation with revision control Prepare project status reports risk trackers and customer updates Ensure audit-ready documentation at all times Authority Accountability Block NPD milestones if quality readiness is incomplete Propose realistic customer timelines and reject unsafe commitments Prevent SOP release without PPAP FAI approval Escalate risks and delays to senior management Key Skills Requirements Minimum 5 years experience in NPD Quality Project roles manufacturing Strong hands-on exposure to APQP PPAP FAI PFMEA Proven customer-facing experience international customers preferred Excellent spoken written English mandatory Strong ownership mindset and ability to work under pressure Confidence to challenge unrealistic timelines in favor of quality KPIs On-time SOP launches PPAP FAI first-time approval rate NPD rejection rate during trials early production Customer satisfaction during NPD phase Effective engineering change management Job Type Full time Pay 420 000 00 - 480 000 00 per year Experience NPD Quality 5 years Required PPAP FAI APQP and PFMEA 5 years Required directly handled customer interactions and approvals NPD 5 years Required suppliers for special processes 5 years Required Language English Preferred Location Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh Required Work Location In person
