Job Summary The Ortho OT Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgical procedures The role involves assisting surgeons ensuring aseptic techniques preparing surgical instruments maintaining OT protocols and providing compassionate patient care before during and after surgery Key Responsibilities Pre-Operative Duties Receive and prepare patients for orthopedic surgeries Verify patient identity consent forms investigations and surgical site Ensure proper positioning of patients as per surgical requirements Check and prepare OT equipment instruments implants and sterile supplies Intra-Operative Duties Scrub circulate and assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards Handle surgical instruments sutures implants and orthopedic devices efficiently Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during operations Monitor patient s vital signs in coordination with the anesthetist Maintain accurate sponge needle and instrument counts Post-Operative Duties Assist in safe transfer of patients to recovery room PACU Provide immediate postoperative nursing care and monitor for complications Ensure proper documentation of intraoperative notes implants used and nursing care provided General Duties Adhere to hospital policies protocols and NABH JCI standards Maintain OT cleanliness sterilization and equipment functioning Participate in regular training skill development and emergency drills Support surgeons and colleagues in emergency and elective procedures Report any adverse events equipment failures or incidents promptly Job Type Permanent Pay Up to 25 000 00 per month Advantages Health insurance Provident Fund Application Question s Day scholar or Hostel Ortho OT Staff Nurse must have knowledge of orthopedic instruments positioning techniques and post-operative protocols Immediate join high priority Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience 5years 3 years Preferred Language Hindi Preferred Work Location In person
