a Senior Manager Software Engineering you will provide project Techno management and leadership on medium to large scale products with internal and direct customer impact Responsible for day-to-day management of Engineering team to ensure technical quality product quality and efficient use of resources Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and within agreed upon quality standards Work closely with cross-functional teams within OpenText and partner with key stakeholders What the role offers Deliver assigned projects to time budget and agreed quality standards Partner with Product Management Architecture Operations other delivery teams and Release Management to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects to satisfy business needs Lead teams to ensure project delivery success Build and maintain strong client relationships internal and external Apply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure world-class solutions that are maintainable modular and of management documentation including but not limited to project plans issues risks action items scorecards and project sites What your need to succeed 14 years experience in developing and managing core products or business applications Experience with Content Management Web Development Agile Development global delivery Practical knowledge of agile iterative development process Strong design architecture and coding experience Hands on experience in net C Azure AWS UI Javascript ReactJs and related technologies Good knowledge in Analytics Machine Learning Cloud Multi Project Program Management Development Able to handle large-scale and multiple products and scrum teams concurrently Knowledge of software development lifecycle process and methodologies Entrepreneurial and self-motivated business oriented Solid leadership people management and mentoring skills Goal driven plans and manages toward achieving goals anticipates problems and issues and proactively drives their resolution Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels Skilled in presentations and discussions with business and technical staff Experience in working in an international setting involving multiple development sites on various time zones Must be confident highly motivated and passionate about delivery and customer satisfaction Familiar with Public hyperscaler and private cloud technology savvy e g Microsoft Azure AWS GCP Experience developing service-oriented architectures SOA using WCF SOAP or REST technologies Experience with CI CD Pipelines publishing Docker containers to Kubernetes clusters Very strong communication skills Self-directed with consensus building and data driven influence management skills Strong planning analysis and
