Job Title VMC Setter Department Production VMC Shop Location Changa - Jamnagar Reporting To Production Supervisor VNC Shop Incharge Experience Required 1 to 2 Years in VMC Machine Setting Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications Set up Vertical Machining Center VMC machines as per job requirements Select and install appropriate tools jigs and fixtures for each job Load and align workpieces correctly to ensure accuracy Perform tool offset setting job zero setting and trial runs Conduct first piece inspection and ensure part accuracy as per drawing Make necessary program adjustments for accuracy and quality Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues Change tools and inserts when required during production Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish throughout production Fill machine logbooks and inspection reports regularly Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and machines Follow SOPs and comply with all safety standards and quality systems Coordinate with the operator and quality department during batch production Train junior operators if required Required Skills Proficient in setting Fanuc Mitsubishi Siemens control-based VMC machines Ability to read and understand technical drawings Solid knowledge of cutting tools tool life and material properties Experience in using measuring instruments like Vernier Micrometer Bore Gauge Height Gauge etc Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Basic knowledge of programming is an advantage Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Perks Cell phone reimbursement Commuter assistance Food provided Health insurance Leave encashment Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location In person
