Country Region IN Requisition ID 28002 Work Model Position Type Salary Range Location INDIA - BENGALURU - BIRLASOFT OFFICE Title Azure Infrastructure Architect Description About Birlasoft Birlasoft a global leader at the forefront of Cloud AI and Digital technologies seamlessly blends domain expertise with enterprise solutions The company s consultative and design-thinking approach empowers societies worldwide enhancing the efficiency and productivity of businesses As part of the multibillion-dollar diversified CKA Birla Group Birlasoft with its 12 000 professionals is committed to continuing the Group s 170-year heritage of building sustainable communities Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure scalable and compliant cloud infrastructure solutions A key responsibility of this role is to architect and establish Azure Landing Zones that align with enterprise governance and operational requirements The role also demands expertise in Lift and Shift migration strategies including planning estimation and execution using Azure best practices Job Title - Azure Infrastructure Architect Responsibilities Cloud Architecture Landing Zones Design and implement Azure Landing Zones in alignment with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework CAF Architect scalable highly available and resilient infrastructure solutions using Azure services Define and enforce governance security and compliance standards across Azure environments Design network architecture including virtual networks subnets firewalls and hybrid connectivity Define and implement identity and access management strategies using Azure Active Directory and RBAC Lift and Shift Migration Lead Lift and Shift migration initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure Conduct discovery and assessment of existing workloads to determine migration feasibility and strategy Develop detailed migration plans including effort estimation timelines resource planning and risk mitigation Ensure migration solutions adhere to Azure Well-Architected Framework and enterprise standards Drive customer workshops and technical discussions to align migration goals and expectations DevSecOps Automation Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate Landing Zone and migration deployments using Infrastructure as Code IaC tools like Terraform Bicep or ARM templates Integrate DevSecOps practices into infrastructure design and deployment pipelines Implement CI CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management Ensure security is embedded throughout the development and deployment lifecycle Tooling Monitoring Evaluate and recommend Azure-native and third-party tools for monitoring security automation and cost optimization Implement observability solutions using Azure Monitor Log Analytics and Application Insights Support disaster recovery planning and implementation Documentation Stakeholder Engagement Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams migration plans policies and operational procedures Lead customer engagements technical workshops and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and transparency Required Skills Qualifications Proven experience in designing and deploying Azure Landing Zones and Lift and Shift migration solutions Robust knowledge of Azure services including networking compute storage identity and security Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code IaC tools such as Terraform Bicep or ARM templates Experience with Azure governance tools like Azure Policy Blueprints and Management Groups
