Role & responsibilities

- Conduct scheduled and surprise audits across retail stores.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and statutory requirements.
- Audit store operations, cash handling, billing, discounts, returns, and POS transactions.
- Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and identify stock variances.
- Monitor shrinkage, damages, pilferage, and recommend corrective actions.
- Verify GRN, stock transfers, inter-store movements, and financial records.
- Prepare audit reports with observations, root cause analysis, and recommendations.
- Track closure of audit findings and support process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Store Managers, Operations, Finance, and Merchandising teams.
- Assist in investigations related to fraud, theft, and policy violations.





Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Retail Audit, Internal Audit, Store Audit, or Loss Prevention.
- Experience in multi-store or luxury retail environments is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Retail Operations, Inventory Management, and POS Systems.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Navision, etc.).
- Solid MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to travel 70 - 80% across PAN India.
