join the Design Engineering and Project team Reporting to the Team Lead this role will be based in Chevron s office in Bengaluru The Early Career Facilities Engineer - I E is responsible for providing instrumentation and electrical design engineering and associated technical support to Chevron s Refining and Liquified Natural Gas LNG assets This role will be responsible for providing support for field engineering engineering work package development and other facility engineering related activities The role is part of the Design Engineering Team at the Chevron ENGINE Centre Chevron ENGINE supports global operations and work hours are aligned to business needs Standard working hours are 8 00 AM to 5 00 PM or 1 30 PM to 10 30 PM Monday to Friday These may evolve based on operational or business requirements Key responsibilitiesSupport day-to-day operations by providing strategic engineering support of the operating assets this includes minor design changes minor project scopes long-term maintenance support and technical input into long-term process or reliability related issues Perform Management of Change for design packages and associated changes Provide support for quality inspection checks and specification of new equipment and associated piping Provide technical support for planned mechanical equipment and piping scopes occurring on site during routine campaign maintenance or turnarounds Develop engineering work packages for brownfield projects maintenance activities and turnarounds Participate in Process Hazard Analysis PHAs design reviews and coordinate multi discipline inputs Support mechanical equipment fitness for service assessments in accordance with API codes and standards as well as providing support for Root Cause Analysis Investigations and other equipment related incidents Identify mechanical equipment risks and deliver solutions to enable safe operation of the plant Leverage expertise and knowledge of piping system design codes and standards pressure vessel design leak seal methods pipe stress analysis damage mechanisms process equipment and piping material selection and sizing equipment procurement field construction and repair practices process safety information and management of change work processes About you We know our greatest resource is the ingenuity creativity and innovation of our people
