Job Title Fabric Sourcing Executive Department Sourcing Purchase Industry Garment Manufacturing Woven Segment Location Guindy Chennai Salary Range 25 000 - 35 000 per month Job Summary We are looking for a qualified and proactive Fabric Sourcing Executive for our woven garment division The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of woven fabrics vendor management and strong communication skills The candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality fabrics maintaining cost efficiency and ensuring timely delivery for production Key Responsibilities Identify and develop a reliable supplier base for woven fabrics cotton linen blends etc Collect swatches and approvals from vendors as per buyer requirements Negotiate prices minimum order quantities MOQs and lead times Follow up on fabric order placement status and timely deliveries Maintain accurate records of sourcing sampling and costing Work closely with the merchandising and production teams for fabric planning Handle fabric test reports certifications and documentation Visit mills and vendors as required to strengthen supplier relationships Candidate Requirements Qualification Graduate in Textile Fashion Garment-related field Diploma or B Tech in Textile Fashion preferred Experience Minimum 2-4 years in fabric sourcing woven segment Strong understanding of fabric types weaves finishes and market trends Excellent communication and negotiation skills English Tamil preferred Proficiency in Excel email communication and basic ERP tools Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Work Location In person
