Position Title Senior Logistics Manager Department Logistics Supply Chain Reports To Head of Operations Director - Supply Chain Location Coimbatore Job Summary We are looking a Senior Logistics Manager for our factory Coimbatore Senior Logistics Manager responsible for leading and overseeing all logistics operations including transportation warehousing distribution and supply chain management The role ensures timely cost-effective and safe delivery of goods while optimizing processes and improving efficiency in line with business objectives Key Roles and Responsibilities Develop and implement logistics strategies to support business growth and efficiency Optimize supply chain processes to reduce cost and improve service levels Oversee inbound and outbound transportation operations Negotiate contracts with carriers freight forwarders and transport vendors Supervise warehouse operations inventory management and material handling Prepare and manage logistics budgets ensuring cost control Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives Build and maintain relationships with logistics partners suppliers and transport providers Collaborate with internal departments procurement production sales to ensure smooth operations Qualifications Skills Bachelor s Master s degree in Logistics Supply Chain Business Administration or related field 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain with at least 3-4 years in a managerial role Strong knowledge of transportation warehousing and distribution systems Proficiency in ERP Logistics software SAP Oracle WMS TMS etc Excellent leadership negotiation and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions Compensation Benefits Competitive salary Paid off time Professional development opportunities Other relevant benefits Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Advantages Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Work Location In person
