chopping vegetables prepping fruits making garnishes organizing cold ingredients and preparing simple cold items Ensure all ingredients are fresh well-stocked and properly stored following hygiene standards Support cold dish plating during service maintaining consistency neatness and speed Maintain a clean organized and hygienic workstation at all times Practice proper food handling labeling and FIFO First In First Out procedures Learn and follow the presentation and flavor style of the restaurant inspired by African and Zulu cuisine Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Assist with cleaning tasks stock rotation and inventory checks as required Requirements 1-2 years experience in a professional kitchen preferably in a cold or prep station Basic knife skills and familiarity with cold kitchen tools and techniques Eagerness to learn improve and take feedback positively Energetic hardworking and reliable Positive personal hygiene grooming and attention to cleanliness Strong teamwork and communication skills Able to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays Any nationality welcome -
