Job Title Production Supervisor - Furniture Manufacturing Location Bhiwandi Department Production Manufacturing Reports to Production Manager Plant Manager Employment Type Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our furniture manufacturing facility The ideal candidate will manage a team of production workers ensure that manufacturing goals are met and maintain high standards of quality efficiency and safety in the production of furniture products Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff across various workstations cutting assembly upholstery finishing etc Ensure daily production targets are met in terms of quantity quality and deadlines Monitor workflow and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate production changes or delays Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Maintain production records including output levels materials usage and equipment maintenance logs Train coach and evaluate employees to ensure high levels of performance and engagement Collaborate with Quality Control and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues quickly and effectively Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste Coordinate with inventory and materials teams to ensure raw materials are available when needed Ensure all furniture products meet internal and customer quality standards Report regularly to the Production Manager on performance metrics and potential challenges Requirements Proven experience 3 years in a supervisory role within the furniture or woodworking manufacturing industry Strong understanding of furniture production processes machinery tools and materials wood fabric foam etc Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production planning Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints or CAD designs Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Proficient with production software and Microsoft Office Suite High school diploma or equivalent required additional technical or management training preferred Preferred Qualifications Certification in production management or operations Experience with ERP or MES systems in a manufacturing environment Bilingual depending on workforce demographics Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund Application Question s Are you comfortable with bhiwandi location Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Work Location In person
