Head of Finance - Contracts Budgeting Role Summary The Head of Finance will lead the organization s financial planning budgeting and contract financial governance This role ensures strong cost control contract compliance accurate forecasting and strategic financial decision-making in alignment with business objectives Key Responsibilities 1 Financial Planning Budgeting Lead annual budgeting forecasting and long-range financial planning processes Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis with actionable insights Partner with business leaders to align financial plans with strategic goals Establish cost optimization and financial control frameworks 2 Contracts Commercial Finance Oversee financial review structuring and approval of contracts customer vendor partner Ensure contracts are financially viable risk-balanced and compliant with internal policies Track contract financial performance revenue recognition and cost commitments Support negotiations with financial models pricing analysis and scenario planning 3 Financial Governance Compliance Ensure compliance with accounting standards regulatory requirements and internal controls Develop and enforce financial policies approval matrices and delegation of authority Coordinate audits related to contracts budgets and financial reporting 4 Reporting Analysis Deliver timely and accurate financial reports to leadership and stakeholders Provide insights on margins cash flow contract profitability and ROI Build financial dashboards and KPIs to support decision-making 5 Leadership Stakeholder Management Lead and mentor finance team members Act as a key finance business partner to legal procurement sales and operations teams Support executive leadership with strategic financial advice Job Expectations Key Skills Solid understanding of financial modeling pricing and commercial contracts Experience working closely with legal and procurement teams Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills Budgeting forecasting Contract financial analysis Financial modeling scenario planning Risk management compliance Negotiation support Advanced Excel and financial systems ERP FP A tools Minimum Qualification Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field MBA CPA CFA preferred Minimum Job Experience 10 years of progressive finance experience including budgeting and contract finance Reporting to HOD Travel Travelling Required
