About the Role We are seeking an experienced Estimator specializing in U S -based construction projects Candidates must have at least 3 years of proven US Project estimating experience and 1 year of hands-on PlanSwift usage 5 years of experience is highly preferred The Estimator will be responsible for delivering accurate cost estimates managing bids and supporting project teams from concept to completion Mandatory Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience estimating U S construction projects commercial residential or mixed-use 5 years strongly preferred Indian Project Experience will not be considered Apply only if you are hands-on with at least any of the two Civil Site Work Concrete Framing MEP At least 1 year of proven experience with PlanSwift software Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field Strong knowledge of U S building codes materials and construction methods Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimating tools Excellent analytical numerical and communication skills Preferred Skills Familiarity with Procore Bluebeam or other construction management software Knowledge of value engineering and cost-control principles Experience across multiple project types and regions in the U S Key Responsibilities Project Evaluation Take-Offs Review and interpret architectural structural and MEP drawings specifications and bid documents Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs for all construction trades using PlanSwift software Identify potential risks discrepancies and scope gaps in drawings and documents Cost Estimation Budgeting Develop detailed cost estimates for labor materials equipment and subcontractor services Prepare and update project budgets at conceptual schematic and detailed design stages Conduct cost benchmarking and ensure alignment with historical data and market trends Incorporate allowances contingencies escalation factors and regional adjustments for U S projects Vendor Subcontractor Coordination Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and vendors ensuring scope compliance Analyze quotes for accuracy completeness and competitiveness Build and maintain a database of qualified suppliers and subcontractors Negotiate pricing terms and conditions with vendors to secure best value Bid Preparation Proposal Support Assist in the preparation of tender documents proposals and bid packages Compile transparent and organized estimate summaries for management and clients Support project managers during client meetings or presentations with cost breakdowns Value Engineering Risk Analysis Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction methods or materials Provide input on constructability schedule impact and risk management Evaluate design changes for cost impact and update estimates accordingly Project Reporting Documentation Maintain up-to-date cost databases historical pricing and estimating templates Create clear and concise reporting on estimate status variances and risks Track post-award costs and support project teams with change orders and cost control Team Collaboration Coordinate with architects engineers and project managers for scope clarification Provide technical guidance to junior estimators or project team members Participate in internal review meetings to validate accuracy of estimates Job Type Full-time Pay 800 000 00 - 2 000 000 00 per year Benefits Work from home Application Question s Do you have at least 3 years of estimating experience on U S -based construction projects Yes No If yes how many total years of U S project estimating experience do you have Do you have 5 years of estimating experience on U S -based construction projects Yes No Do you have at least 1 year of hands-on experience using PlanSwift for take-offs and estimating Yes No List of the trades that you are proficient with Site Work Concrete Foundation Masonry Finishes MEP etc Apply only if you are hands-on with at least any of the two a Civil Site Work b Concrete c Framing d MEP Work Location Remote
