Job Purpose We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SDE-T with Java and Python language to join our engineering team This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building robust scalable test automation frameworks and has deep expertise in Python database testing and quality engineering practices You will work closely with developers product managers and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases through automation and continuous testing Desired Skills and experience4 years of experience in software testing and automation Strong proficiency in Python for automation and scripting Proven experience in building modular scalable test frameworks Solid understanding of SQL relational databases and writing debugging stored procedures Experience with RESTful API testing using tools like Postman REST Assured or custom Python scripts Familiarity with version control systems Git CI CD tools and test management platforms Knowledge of software development lifecycle SDLC and Agile methodologies Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills Bring robust subject matter expertise in FSI particularly fixed income trading products and workflows Direct experience with trading vendors order management systems and electronic trading platforms Experience with Pytest Robot Framework or similar Python Java-based test frameworks Exposure to cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP and containerization Docker Kubernetes Knowledge of performance testing tools e g JMeter Locust Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science Engineering or related field Candidates having experience with real-time trading applications and or Fixed income trading and capital markets experience will be highly preferred Key responsibilities include Design develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks using Python and Java Build and optimize automated test suites for API UI and backend services Develop and execute SQL queries and stored procedures to validate data integrity and business logic Integrate automated tests into CI CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of new features and drive shift-left testing Perform code reviews and mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers Analyze test results identify root causes and drive resolution of defects Contribute to performance and security testing initiatives as needed Behavioral Competencies - Flexible to work in UK timings
