Vertex is a leading innovator in garment label machinery manufacturing, specializing in advanced ultrasonic label cutting, slitting, folding, printing machines, and precision cutter/blade solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

Position: Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design machine parts, assemblies, and mechanisms using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models.
- Modify and improve existing machine designs based on production and client requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
- Create BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with the production department and external vendors.
- Handle CNC, Wire Cut, Laser Cutting, Turning, Milling, Surface Grinding, and Sheet Metal Fabrication follow-ups.
- Inspect manufactured components as per drawings and dimensions.




- Assist in raw material planning and product cost estimation.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine fabrication.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T.;

Software Knowledge

- SolidWorks (Basic)
- AutoCAD (Preferred)
- MS Excel & MS Office

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in machine manufacturing industry preferred.
