Job Summary

The Air Pricing Executive is responsible for preparing competitive air freight quotations, negotiating rates with airlines and overseas agents, supporting the sales team with timely pricing, and ensuring profitable business opportunities. The role requires strong knowledge of air freight operations, pricing strategies, airline routing, and international logistics.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare competitive air freight quotations for import and export shipments.
- Coordinate with airlines, GSAs, freight consolidators, and overseas agents to obtain the best rates.
- Negotiate freight rates while maintaining target profit margins.
- Support the sales team with spot quotations, RFQs, tenders, and customer-specific pricing.
- Maintain and update air freight rate sheets and pricing databases.
- Monitor airline capacity, schedules, and market trends.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure service feasibility and smooth shipment execution.
- Ensure quotations are sent within agreed turnaround times (TAT).
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and global partners.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to improve pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, airline regulations, and IATA guidelines.




- Prepare pricing reports and assist management with profitability analysis.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Air Freight Pricing within a freight forwarding or logistics company.
- Knowledge of international air freight operations, airline tariffs, and Incoterms.
- Familiarity with IATA regulations and air cargo documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics software (ERP/TMS).
- Robust communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
