Role Overview

We are looking for a competent MEP Engineer to support planning, execution, coordination, and monitoring of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for a luxury 5-star hotel project. The role involves close coordination with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely delivery with premium quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day execution of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and BMS works
- Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Monitor manpower, materials, and productivity at site
- Coordination
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, interiors, and faade teams to avoid clashes
- Assist in resolving site coordination and constructability issues
- Liaise with MEP contractors and vendors for smooth execution
- Drawings & Documentation
- Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals
- Maintain site records, inspection requests (IRs), checklists, and daily progress reports
- Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and O&M; manuals
- Quality & Safety
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures and luxury hotel standards
- Ensure compliance with NBC,



IS codes, fire norms, and local authority requirements
- Follow and enforce HSE norms at site
- Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Support testing, commissioning, and balancing of MEP systems
- Assist during inspections by consultants, hotel operators, and authorities
- Support smooth handover and defect liability period activities
- Systems Exposure
- HVAC systems (Chillers / VRF / AHU / FCU)
- HT/LT Electrical, DG Sets, UPS
- Plumbing, Drainage, STP / WTP
- Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm Systems
- ELV: CCTV, Access Control, Data, PA
- BMS / IBMS

Qualifications

- BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience

- 4-8 years of relevant MEP experience
- Experience in hotel, hospitality, high-end commercial, or residential projects preferred
- Exposure to luxury or branded hotel projects is an advantage

Key Skills

- Solid site coordination and execution skills
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel (MS Project preferred)
- Quality- and safety-focused mindset
