Job Summary

We are looking for a Packaging Development Executive with 23 years of experience in the FMCG, Cosmetics, Personal Care, or Perfume industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing and commercializing innovative, cost-effective, and high-quality packaging solutions for new and existing products. The role requires close coordination with Marketing, Procurement, QA, Production, R&D;, and suppliers to ensure timely product launches.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for recent product development (NPD).
- Coordinate with packaging material suppliers for sample development, modifications, quotations, and approvals.
- Evaluate packaging materials such as PET, HDPE, PP, glass bottles, tubes, jars, caps, pumps, sprayers, droppers, cartons, labels, shrink sleeves, and corrugated boxes.
- Prepare packaging specifications, BOMs, technical drawings, and packaging standards.




- Conduct packaging qualification trials and line trials before commercial production.
- Perform packaging performance tests including leak test, drop test, compression test, transportation test, compatibility study, fitment, torque, and dispensing performance.
- Investigate packaging-related production issues and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Identify cost optimization and value engineering opportunities without compromising product quality.
- Coordinate artwork development and packaging change management with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure packaging complies with applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
- Support supplier qualification, audits, and packaging material validation.
- Maintain packaging development records, specifications, and approval documents.
- Meet project timelines to support successful product launches.
