- Responsible for management and overall smooth & efficient operations of Metal Working Electronics & Prototyping laboratories and shared equipment facility supporting deep tech startups.
- Act as the key contact for all startups members and other stakeholders using the shared lab and equipment including induction and training on their use.
- Ensure all activities are conducted safely accurately and in compliance with regulations and standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operations manage the lab team maintain equipment and ensure adequate supplies.
- Work towards making lab activities self-sustainable by bringing in new initiatives providing expertise to innovators and building connections.
- Oversee and organize all laboratory supplies consumables & accessories.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment ensuring proper calibration maintenance and repairs.
- Manage vendors.
- Manage the process of procurement of laboratory equipment and documentation as per SINE s policy.
- Develop SOPs for lab equipment and ensure their implementation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain data accordingly.
- Manage and maintain database systems.
- Design and conduct trainings in the labs.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for a safe working workplace.




- Deploy software solutions to automate processes and enhance transparency.
- Maintain documentation and records related to laboratory activities including protocols procedures and safety reports.
- Participate in internal and external audits and inspections addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate and assist in the execution of research activities providing technical expertise and troubleshooting assistance to users.
- Evaluate and recommend equipment purchases and upgrades based on requirements and budget constraints.
- Develop and manage the laboratory budget including forecasting expenses and allocating funds appropriately.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies without compromising quality or safety.

- Engineering Graduate with specialization in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical or Science Post-Graduate /Graduate in Physics/Electronics.
- Minimum 5 - 7 years experience of working in prototyping or mechanical laboratory.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Lab Incharge/ Manager.
- Practical experience in working with a broad range of laboratory equipment.
