Job description Key Responsibilities Prepare the operating room by setting up sterile instruments and equipment Assist the surgical team by passing instruments sponges and other items needed during surgery Maintain a sterile field and adhere to strict aseptic techniques throughout the procedure Count surgical instruments and materials e g sponges needles before and after the procedure to ensure nothing is left inside the patient Monitor the patient s condition during surgery in collaboration with the circulating nurse and anesthetist Support the surgical team in positioning the patient and ensuring proper draping Ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens Assist with post-operative care and equipment sterilization Collaborate with the surgical and perioperative team for smooth case flow Maintain accurate documentation related to surgical procedures Qualifications and Skills Registered Nurse RN license as per local regional requirements Scrub nurse training or operating theatre experience required Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures Robust attention to detail and the ability to work in high-pressure environments Excellent communication and teamwork skills Certification in Basic Life Support BLS and preferably Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS Work Location - Mysore - Karnataka - India NoteYou can also text WhatsApp message to (phone hidden) if we do not respond to your call or email Job Type Full-time Pay 26 500 00 - 30 000 00 per month Job Type Permanent Pay 26 000 00 - 32 000 00 per month Benefits Commuter assistance Health insurance Leave encashment Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
