Key Responsibilities Inspect incoming raw materials in-process components and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards Perform dimensional checks hardness testing surface finish inspections and other mechanical quality tests Review engineering drawings material certificates and process documentation to verify compliance Identify defects or non-conformities and report them to production for corrective action Prepare inspection reports quality records and maintain proper documentation Coordinate with production design and procurement teams to resolve quality issues Implement and monitor quality control plans standard operating procedures SOPs and checklists Ensure compliance with ISO standards ISO 9001 and customer requirements Assist in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities Key Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of mechanical components engineering drawings and GD T Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers micrometers height gauges CMM etc Understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes machining welding fabrication casting etc Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of quality standards ISO ASME ASTM etc Basic understanding of statistical process control SPC and non-destructive testing NDT Job Type Full-time Pay 25 114 08 - 27 449 78 per month Benefits Paid sick time Work Location In person
